These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our website, applications, transcription tools, translation tools, summarization tools, subtitle tools, caption tools, media processing features, and related services. 1. Introduction
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, account holders, subscribers, and others who access or use the service. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use Dictationer.
2. User Accounts

Dictationer allows users to upload or submit media, links, text, documents, and other content for features such as transcription, translation, summarization, subtitle generation, caption generation, media editing, and content repurposing. You are responsible for the content you submit and for how you use any output generated by the service.
- You must have the necessary rights, permissions, or legal basis to upload, submit, process, or repurpose content through Dictationer.
- You are responsible for reviewing generated transcripts, translations, summaries, captions, subtitles, and other outputs before relying on or publishing them.
- You understand that AI-generated or automated results may contain errors, omissions, formatting issues, mistranslations, or inaccurate content.
- You must not use Dictationer in a way that violates laws, third-party rights, platform policies, or these Terms.
4. Credits, Subscriptions, and Payments
Some Dictationer features may require credits, paid plans, subscriptions, or one-time payments. Credits, plan limits, supported features, and pricing may vary depending on the selected plan and may change over time.
- Credits or usage allowances may be consumed when a job is started, processed, completed, or retried depending on the feature.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.
- You can cancel your subscription to stop future renewals, but cancellation does not automatically refund previous charges.
- Payments, refunds, failed jobs, duplicate charges, and credit restoration requests are handled according to our Refund Policy. Refund Policy.
5. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose.
- Upload, process, or distribute content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Upload malware, viruses, spam, harmful code, or content intended to disrupt systems.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, accounts, infrastructure, APIs, or networks.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, resell, exploit, or abuse the service without permission.
- Use automated systems, bots, or scripts in a way that harms service stability or violates fair usage.
- Use Dictationer to create, process, or distribute illegal, harmful, or rights-violating content.
6. User Content and Generated Output
You retain ownership of content you upload or submit to Dictationer. You grant us a limited permission to process, store, transmit, and display your content only as necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the service.
- Generated outputs are provided for your use, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
- You are responsible for verifying generated outputs before using them for business, legal, educational, publishing, accessibility, or public communication purposes.
- We may remove content or restrict access if we believe it violates these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of others.
7. Intellectual Property
Dictationer, including its website, software, interface, branding, logos, designs, text, graphics, features, and underlying technology, is owned by Dictationer or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of Dictationer’s intellectual property.
8. Third-Party Services and Links
Dictationer may integrate with or link to third-party services, platforms, payment providers, analytics providers, cloud infrastructure, media sources, or external websites. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, policies, availability, or actions. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
9. Service Availability and Changes
We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that Dictationer will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every file, link, platform, browser, or device. We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Dictationer immediately, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create risk for other users, fail to pay required fees, or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity. You may stop using the service at any time.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
Dictationer is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dictationer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business, reputation, or goodwill, resulting from your access to or use of the service.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Dictationer from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your submitted content, your generated outputs, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
